Innovative joins MIT Group following Valsoft acquisition

Following its’ acquisition by Valsoft Corporation in 2019, Innovative Business Software A/S (Innovative), a Copenhagen-based security company is now part of MIT Group, a division of Valsoft. The move will see Innovative CEO Lars Nygaard joining the group as EVP Business Development.

Valsoft’s MIT Group is a software solutions provider for enterprises with complex engineering assets and regulated processes. It helps its customers achieve operational excellence through technological innovation. 

Innovative A/S leads the way in integrated task and incident management solutions for security operations. Founded in 1982, the company has grown from an alarm monitoring solutions provider to the developer of leading-edge security applications for a large range of emergency services and commercial customers from around the world.

Patrick Cusk, CEO MIT Group said:

“Bringing Innovative into the MIT Group fold provides huge benefits for all stakeholders especially its customers including enhanced data security and management processes, world-class customer support, and a wealth of accumulated developer skills and experience.”

He added:

“Not only is Innovative an important pioneer within the incident management sector, it also closely allies itself with our core values and goals and we are looking forward to helping it to continue to thrive and grow.”

The transition will allow Innovative to exploit the technology synergies of MIT Group’s family of companies. These includes UK aviation MRO developer OASES and Houston-based process safety management provider, VisiumKMS.

Innovative’s CEO Lars Nygaard brings with him over 20 years’ experience in the software industry. Lars has built a reputation for a strong people and customer-orientated mindset. He said:
